Sure it's a corny scene in a hokey movie about fake football players, but the Quicksand concept is real and we saw it last night.

But it's only one game.

The Panthers have more talent on their roster at this moment than they've ever had before. It would be foolish to dump out the best quarterback and coach the franchise has ever had based on one game. The roster will be retooled and the assistant coaches must be looked at. It won't correct the mistakes of last night, but this team will be back. After everything that the team has accomplished and been through since 2003, I'm not going to let one game change how I feel...

You can laugh and deride if you want, but I don't care I'll say it out loud.

Jake Delhomme is my Quarterback.
