Recently reading the artical on Thomas Davis on Panthers.com, knowing the Panthers are in a wait and see situation; placing him on the PUP rather then IR, who agrees with the coaching staffs decision? Personally I love to win and want to field the best possible team, and I believe Davis would provide a good push to the defense for a playoff run... Simular to Bob Sanders with the colts...

Disclaimer: ONLY if were in playoff contention do I want Davis back this season, if were below 500 at week 6, stick him on IR.

[Future of the Funchise]

He will be I.R. at some point in this season. Now point in wasting a valued commodity knowing that he could be hurt again. The pup thing is just a ploy to get other teams nervous know that they gameplan against him.
