Back when I was going to RCCC (Rowan-Cabarrus Com College) in the early 90's to get yet another degree. I was in a marketing class. We were waiting for the Proff to show up. In the book there was a picture of a young lady similarly made up. With the caption, "Would you hire her?"

I said out loud, "OMG!" The 20 something young lady next to me asked me what was going on. I showed her the picture. She proceeded to stick her tongue out at me. "Do you see the ole?" she asked. (BTW, the young lady in the picture was hired according to the text, by a dot com company.)

She had a tiny hole in her tongue. She told me that she had her tongue pierced, but that she was always "playing with it"' so she took it out. So the other 20 somethings around me, proceeded to share with me what they either had pierced or wanted pierced. (Included some rather graphic portrayals.) I was 41-42 and engaged, at the time and they were talking about having their clits and labias pierced.

I reminded them that I was old enough to be their Father, but they didn't seem to mind. I worked in a strip club and have seen piercings just about anypace you can imagine. But never had young women talk to me about it. Fortunately the professor walked in and it they quited down.

They were always asking me to go with them for drinks after class. Hindsight, huh? I knew if I did, I would have been in major trouble! (More ways than one!)
