Kicking game

I haven't seen much said about kickoffs and FGs during training camp and I've only seen what happened during the game last week. Any news/information on whats going to happen with kickoffs this year? It might have just been the rain but the kcikoffs were barely reaching the endzone in the game.

Also, anyone know how Kasay missed the extra point FG? Doesn't seem like him and I'm just curious if he still has it in him to do one more season with us.

Might have had something to do with the torrential down pour of rain during the kick. I think he can still make the kicks... even the 50 yard FG's.

And for Todd Carter, this will be his last game. He's shown nothing all through camp. He was a cheap gamble that didn't pay off.

That being said, I hope they look for a replacement for Kasay next year. He has been reliable fg kicker, but need to find someone who can do both kickoff's and fg's.

Yeah, I haven't looked to see who might be coming out of the next draft. Are there any college kickers worth a look or would it have to be a free agent?

It was the same guy that long snapped last year, but I think it was Baker that messed up the hold.
