After watching last night.... John Fox will be the #1 FA coach next year

The Defense he and Meeks have put together after losing Peppers, Kemoeatu, Davis, Harris, Lewis will be a top 5 Defense in the NFL. The offense will come around as we are missing three all pro's with Smith, Otah and Stewart. I just hope Mr. Richardson will at the very least consider Meeks as our next head coach.

I don't think he will stay and I don't mind Meeks.

Being a great coordinator doesn't necessarily equal being a great head coach (See Buddy Ryan). But I agree that he should be considered.

Meeks has been nothing short of a defensive genius since he got here. He's also a Dungy coaching product. If Fox leaves and Meeks doesn't get the job I will be livid. No reason to bring in Gruden or Cowher when we have the perfect guy on staff right now.

I don't know if Meeks should get the HC job or not. I do like him a DC because he's inspired life into our Defense and would hate to have Fox get fired and a new head coach bring in a completely different staff.

If you're gonna hand out credit, don't forget Baker, the DL coach. That was the unit that really needed coaching up, and he has gotten it done so far.

Let's all take a deep breath though, because none of this counts yet. If they play like this when the score counts and the opponent is game planning against us, then it will be special.
