Panthers Giants Week 1

Screw the preseason man, i'm ready for the regular season to get here. I had a question??? Does anyone think that the NFL has set up the panthers for failure? Regardless of the play of our guys, do you think since it will be the debut of the new giants stadium, that the refs may throw an extra flag or two against us? Can the NFL and the Giants franchise really afford to get embarassed week one in the eyes of roger goodell?

They will get embarassed again, man I really hope that the fix ain't in, like if at some meeting earlier during the year they were like "Let's find a team to get their asses kicked to open this thing up"

No i think you got the giants mixed up with the cowgirls....

Besides the game wont be close enough for a few penalty's to affect it... i honestly think we could shut them out... again!

I just think they'll want it more. Sort of how we anally raped the Cards in their house after what they did to us in the Playoffs. The Giants will want to make up for what we did to them last season, and poor Smitty will see double and triple coverage. Hopefully LaFell and Jarrett can move the sticks and they don't stack the box the whole game for Double Trouble.

Anyone remember 2006 wildcard playoffs? The white towels waving hard, then by the middle of the game the stadium half empty and eli embarassed to death, I can forsee that happening.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
