Is coming on TBS tonight I believe. My roommate and I were discussing this when we saw the commercial...Is this the most overrated comedy of the last decade? We say yes. What say you?

We brought up Superbad, but not Pineapple Express. I didn't think that many people thought PE was that good. Superbad is certainly up there though.

Talledega Nights is classic. And as far as other Will Ferrell movies, yes Semi-Pro was pretty bad, but what about Anchorman and Step-Brothers? Come on!

i own every movie that's been mentioned in this thread, and enjoy them all every time i watch them

I didn't even smile at Superbad. Seth Rogan is not funny at all, and he hijacked it with that weird cop plotline.

Wedding Crashers is the most overrated comedy of all time. I'd rather watch Freddy Got Fingered.

Good point. A good example of this type of movie would be Dumb and Dumber. A ridiculous movie--beyond silly. But that's what makes it so damn funny!

You have to be in a certain frame of mind to watch movies like that--and alcohol helps.
