Why did you avoid responding to my point of Peppers only having 2.5 sacks with Jenkins as the DT?

Again, chap. It's hard to respond to idiots who deem it necessary to call names when someone disagrees or doesn't share the same opinipn. Get the sand out your vagina.

Jenkins and Peppers ironically are leaving due to the same thing....the scheme. And last time I checked Peppers has 14 sacks this season.

ok hypocrits? i think everyone is saying f you to pep because he said he wanted a change of scenery (which i hope is from 12-4 to 0-16). Im not a huge jake supporter but i am a supporter of a player who doesnt give up and say hes better off somewhere else. WE WERE 12-5 for jeebus' sake.

If im a hypocrite for wanting the team to move on with a situation like Julius' and try to help the team then im ok with that label

Yea this is equal to steve smith leaving........and all you can say is let's move on.Ha i think we have done enough moving on in this franchise.(kris Jenkins,Peppers, and Moose).it's time something gets done......12-5,12-5,12-5,12-5 is all you simply minded people can say in a situation like this, are you serious?yes we went 12-5 but all we played were close games due to coaching fug ups,or qb play.but one of our biggest de's(who still has it) is about to be traded or released and all you can say is 12-5.

Jenkins Did NOT leave because of the scheme. He left because he was unmotivated and felt that a bigger city would help his motivation level. (he was lazy)

Says who? I remember him definitely saying this team played with no heart. Seeing that players often take on the personality of their DC/coaches I'd say Jenkins left because of this porous a** defense. Peppers is realizing the Jenks is right and doing the same.

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
