Probably one of the most insane FF endings I've seen

Crazy MNF game last night with all the various scoring, turnovers, long FGs.

I had Nick Folk and ADP...he had Favre and Dustin Keller and he was up 4.

might type later..but hell...I stayed up and watched every down and still thought I'd lost going to bed. Refused to look at final on ESPN ff scoreboard.

Ok...Nick Folk is nailing FGs left and right and by the 2nd quarter I'm definately leading and Favre keeps fumbling. I'm building a lead and I still have ADP to look for stuff.

Then Favre hits Moss on that bomb. Damn. I'm still ok. Jets kick another FG. Then another pass to freaking Harvin in for a TD. Crap...I'm still ok because of the buffer but I'm only up maybe 2 points. Then...the 2nd Harvin td pass where he gets those feet down. I'm pissed.

Dammit...I'm now down by around 4-6...not really sure because I refused to look. So out of FG range numbers wise to catch up. Crap. Jet's get ball back and can't make a 1st down. Vikings get ball back. PICK 6!!! That is a -2 against Favre and I'm closer.

Vikings get ball back. Checkdown to ADP for about 9yds...get the PPR 1 and the yards. Still down. CRAP...time running out and no TOs for Vikings. Leonhard barely misses another INT against Favre. CRAPPP!!!! ADP drops a checkdown!!!! CRAAAAAAAAAPPPPP!!!! 20 seconds and counting. Favre heaves to endzone. If it's caught...whoever catches it wins (Jets I win...Vikings he wins). Ball hits someone's hand and I swear...time slowed. Hands outreached as this tumbling ball is falling to the ground. It hits the ground.

CRRAAAPAPAPPAPAPAP!!!1111eleventy!!

I'm so pissed I go directly to bed knowing I lost.

Didn't sleep worth a damn. Wake up and go to check on another league I'm in and I see 5-0. WHAT? wth? Yep...I won by 1 point due to a fumble lost that wasn't recorded in game and put to Favre.

Many text messages were received by me on the commute to work...asking if I'd sold my soul to the fantasy gods to get 19 out of a kicker and win.

At this point in life, I’m not one to judge anyone’s level of dedication, or their reasons why anymore.  Time, and a lot of bad football, will do that.  For me, it’s simple.  We share a common bond.  For that, I love and appreciate all of you crazy SOB’s. For me, last season was at a minimum, entertaining.  BY lead a young team to multiple come from behind 4th qtr wins.  That showed me heart, and that he has the clutch gene.  That’s the wildcard intangible.  For me, that was fun to watch even  if it was mindbogglingly frustrating at times.  Over the past two seasons, we have progressively built a better team around him.  On paper, the defense should be better this season.  That’ll help.  Let’s see what he can do as the other guys continue to develop too.  Besides, his contract is cheap for a few more years, and we just made some smart cap decisions during the draft. Let’s see how it shakes out.
    • Hiring Shula & his Cam save us playbook.
    • I would very much liked to have seen Jake Delhomme's career if Tommy Jone no hurt Jake.  I just know that roster and the leadership were destined to hit paydirt but Jake was never the same after the elbow injury, and unfortunately he was the sole reason they didn't make it back to the big one.  I think that 08 team was the best in the league, and Jake masked his inability well all season til the Arizona game put it all on display.  I'll go back to the season prior even and say the 07 team was primed to be a competitor.  Jake was off to a fantastic start that year (for a Panthers QB).  They may have been a championship caliber club for a few seasons after 08 too.
