Sirius likes Turgo coming back, and question about Gross.

Someone from SC called in complaining about Turgo coming back and asked what they thought. Shein and Riggins saw the guy's point (esp with peppers wanting out) but said they felt none of us would have been running him out of town before that last playoff game.

the guy pointed out our D started to suck the 2nd half of the season. Riggins did bring up the point he feels Peppers should be even better than he is and 'something must be going on' for that not to happen.

Any word on a contract for Gross? NFL network when looking at the OL drills said Loadholt from Oklahoma should play RT in the NFL and started talking about Otah. The were talking about if we can re sign gross we may have the best bookends in the league next year. So any word? I really want to see this done before we have to tag Peppers.

No man sorry no news on Gross yet. When we here what will happen with Peppers the "Gross Factor" will not be to far behind it.

Thanks. I would rather in the next couple weeks hear Gross is re signed and a couple cuts made to clear the room needed to franchise peppers. the sooner we get him off the books and gain picks, the better.

    • I agree Tepper completely bumbled everything after purchasing the Panthers. Kept Rivera and Hurney too long, including letting Hurney last into Matt Rhule’s tenure instead of hiring a GM to hire the head coach, and then hiring Matt Rhule and giving him way too much power, then keeping him into year 3. For all the reputation Tepper has as having too quick of a trigger finger with coaches/GMs, it is entirely unwarranted. 2 out of 3 head coaches and GMs he kept too long. That being said, it would have all probably ended up fine if Matt Rhule had not been a complete egotistical idiot who felt the need to piss all over everything about the franchise to mark his territory. All he had to do was keep Cam on the last year of his contract, listen to 1st round draft genius Marty Hurney and go up and get Justin Herbert, and not trade for reclamation project QBs every year. And now hearing poo like this, how about not run your star RB in goal line drills his first practice back from injury. I wish Matt Rhule nothing but the worst in his coaching career because it was his hubris and arrogance that led to all of this.
    • Chris Paul Jr should be high on the list. He might be able to start by mid-season (time to pick up the defense). He's already better at beating/shedding blocks than any other ILB on the roster.  So tired of watching guys run into OGs and play push with them. Beat the friggin block so you can make a friggin tackle!------- Please!
    • Sir, the Panthers are not going to have a winning season this year. They're too young/inexperienced at the skill positions. I'd say 2026 is the season for winning expectations. This year is for development.
