Im sorry, but I'll have to say that this is big boy football. If your not performing as a OC or DC, Fox needs to have the balls to do whats in the best intrest of the team. If this is how they handle things, because they dont want to hurt someones feelings, they dont belong in the league.

I believe the Panthers have major problems now, and I think it starts with who in the hell is running the show. I believe thier have been issues on the defensive side of the ball going back to Jenks. This is the NFL, you find ways to make it work. When a guy says he doesnt want to play somewhere, something is frickin WRONG! It boils down to one thing...leadership..the end. As a Ravens fan, I know one thing for sure every year, our defense will plays its ass off, and its because no one will half step with #52 running the show. I just dont see any signs of leadership on that whole team. Who is your man on defense? Beason maybe? If so, he needs to step up even more, just my opinion.

Even though your opinion is somewhat valid, every NFL team doesn't have the luxury of having a murderer as our defensive leader to keep everyone else in check. Just sayin.

Whatswith all the murder, thugz, etc i see on this board and just regular chats from some people. If someone is in trouble call it what it is. But dont pass judgement. Ray Lewis got in trouble for not telling the authorities(snitching) as he should have. Leave your ignort statment out of the forum.

We will probably go for some no-name poo head that no one has ever heard of....the type of guy who will listen when Fox tells him to shut the f**k up and color.

Good thing Meeks isn't Turdo.

There is hope!

Yes. And his name is Ron Meeks. :willy_nilly:

means nothing! no reason to celebrate!

There is reason to celebrate now & our defense will get better next year.

Carolina will only bring in nobody w/ an unattractive 1 yr deal only.....Fox will push them around and have him run the exact same crap we watched this year. Trgocrap didn't want to run that crap either. The D was better when he ran it and like Darin Gantt reported...FOX took over the D and that is when things got bad anyway. Fox took it over the past two seasons.

Good thing this didn't happend so far like your comments said. :)

    • When Parcell’s said Bryce better “walk on water”…..the implied concern wasn’t that the tiny QB could survive being hit.  It was acknowledging he would have to be extremely special to overcome the handicaps he would face at this level.  Which he isn’t and can’t.  which isn’t just being hit.  It’s being able to play in an NFL pocket and make NFL throws from it….and that ultimately is Bryce’s problem.  He doesn’t play well from a NFL pocket and can’t make all the throws as needed.  He can’t see as others can.  Which impacts the throws he does and doesn’t take.  It also impacts him bailing and killing plays and turning them into scrambles/dead plays
    • 9:30 kick off here in Scotland, which is better than the 01:20 early hours of Monday that I feared. Will definitely be watching, but probably wouldn't if it had been 0120 as I need to be up for work at 05:45. Falcons Saints is 6pm on the Sunday so will watch that too if it becomes relevant
    • So much revisionist history around the pre-draft Bryce hype. The media was practically united in saying that if he were a couple inches taller he'd be the perfect prospect and it was just a question of whether he'd hold up in the NFL being that small. The Panthers did not create the mythos around him they were just the team that bought in. The team was largely praised for the move after and for surrounding him with what was considered an all-star coaching staff at the time.  Yeah part of the fanbase wanted Stroud but let's be real, we're coming from an oversized franchise QB who injured himself out the league. There was some analysis here on the limitations of Bryce's game but people were mostly just concerned he was going to turn into dust when he got sacked in the NFL.
