A Question for the College Ball Followers

I've never claimed to be a spelling bee champion. That's why I like "spell check." When a board supplies that tool I use it. I find it amusing that on many other boards I seem to be called out more for my spelling faux pas than someone that can't make a complete sentence. I'm not singling out anyone here on these boards. Because the pot shouldn't call a kettle black I throw no stones. I suppose because I have some command of a vocabulary I'm expected to be able to spell what I say without flaw. My ability to communicate my thoughts far outstrips my ability to spell what I say and think. Never claimed to it to be otherwise. From now on since this board seems to be full of scholars I'll use the dictionary rather than dumb down my rhetoric. I'll just be slower in my response. Please spell check this if so inclined.

Still think a well coached college all-star team would whomp the crap out of this Panther team especially if the defense had an off day.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
