To be fair to Palmer, it was a career ending injury (according to the surgeon). The Bengals do have to move on though - perhaps they look at a FA in the off season. Someone that's a better back up than his brother.

The coach is the big thing for me.

This is a pivotal point in Panthers history. If we make a poor hire we're setting ourselves back half a decade.

If Harbaugh is that guy then I'm sure we'll go and get him. I guess it depends how attached to Luck he is: he might take the job that guarantees him his college QB.
