PSL Trouble Guys? What's up?

I am speaking in terms of an investment. And a lot of people never even payoff a 30 Yr mortgage

I get what your saying but go on any ticket site and you will see tons of people trying to sell there PSLs for what they payed in 95. I was really shocked tell you the truth but just because we are Panthers fans dose not mean everyone is. Its a select market with only a few buyers in it.

The people who can't afford them have no business having them - as others have said, it's a luxury item so priorities must be put in order. There are some on here also who said they could not afford their tickets - they bought them anyway and then sold them - I'll bet most broke even or did much better than that.

I feel you never been in that situation. Just saying.....

Your statement is NOT correct. When a PSL holder agrees the PSL for xx number of years, there is a guarantee on price increase limits.

Umm, where in the agreement does it say that? I don't sit in Club seating myself. A previous poster said 'years clause', applied only to the club seats. Is that true? If it is, then my statement is not incorrect, it's just not applicable to all seating. But can that be confirmed? Thanks...

My husband was unemployed and out of work for an entire year. I paid my invoices. I also sold a few of my games that year to recoup some of what we couldn't afford. Football is a luxury so we did what we had to do.

If you don't sit in clubs, it will not be part of your contract.

By the way, do you actually own PSLs or are you just full of sh*t?

Prob cause those people would like to have the right to season tickets but cant afford PSLs. Just saying.....
Yeah, you are pretty much full of sh*t. Right now there are people out there who are putting money back for PSLs, and there are those who are just whining about it on a message board. I no more believe that you would buy tickets if they didn't use PSLs than I believe we're going to switch to a 3-4 and sign Haynesworth. If they didn't have PSLs, you would be bitching about the cost of single tickets and how season ticket holders shouldn't have to buy preseason games or something like that. You damn sure wouldn't own season tickets yourself, it's easier for you to complain than to commit.

One nice thing about a PSL, it means that I don't have to risk sitting next to someone who doesn't understand personal responsibility and the free market. You don't belong in this discussion.

Why all the hosility?

The current price for ANY PSL right now is greater than the value they originally sold for in '95.

    • This is huge may not be a trap game but this plays a major part in what they want to do. If we can get some pressure on Sam we know what he does with pressure coming hit and heavy. Also we may be able to take the top off their defense a backup safety trying to stop TMac or Cooker over the top or forcing him to play the backend should allow us to run the ball somewhat effectively. Either they allow some runs or we take some shots and if Bryce and whoever can connect deep we’ll be in business for another big time win against a top notch opponent. Might not be a trap game but health travel game plans all play a major role in each weeks game plan and this week might be leaving our way. We’re missing some replaceable pieces they’re missing key anchors to the offense and defense major difference time to solidly ourselves at one of the top teams in the nfc tomorrow fellas buckle up.
    • Yes.  If I am not mistaken, we need to sign Coker to the ERFA tender and insist that XL spends his spring and summer at a WR camp and not Coon huntin on his four wheeler.  XL was raw when we picked him--which is why I wanted to go another direction--and we are seeing how raw.  He is basically learning a position.     The Panthers will make their move in 2026 to be an NFL powerhouse behind Bryce.  Bryce needs intelligent WRs who catch the ball.  That said, we need a solid #2 to challenge XL and make cutting him easy, if necessary.  A #2 WR (intented to be a #1 by now) with under 400 yards is embarrassing.   On offense, you have to ask, "Where can we get better?"  In my view, #2 WR, TE (although they are improving) and maybe C (again, if we re-sign Mays, he is trending up and at 26, entering his prime--I say stay with him and find competition later in the draft (not good for C).  OL depth maybe?  In other words, XL is a glaring weak spot.
