Watched your vid through a couple of times. A few things...

You've definitely got some elusiveness and very good run vision. Those things are more important than a lot of people know.

Good feet. Good body lean. You know how to use your pads ("run behind your pads" as the saying goes). Somewhere along the way someone has taught you to finish off your runs. That's strong. Just don't forget that runners take a lot of hits and at the next level your opponents will hit harder, so protect yourself (and don't get too cocky).

Lots of solid open field running. Nice work weaving your way through traffic. At your size, you might want to concentrate on working out as a third down scatback and/or a punt return specialist (depends somewhat on what school you go to). If so, make sure you secure that football when you feel opposing players getting close.

On those long outside runs, always try and keep your eyes downfield. Appeared to me like you looked at the sidelines a few times and you were kinda horizontal at first. Try and stay as square as you can. Yes, you do still have to keep aware of where the sideline is (it's possible to develop a "feel" for it with practice) but you don't want to miss opportunities.

It doesn't apply as much in high school, but on the next level you'll want to concentrate on learning how to best use your blockers. Be patient and let them set up for you and you'll get farther than you will on your own. You did that some on a play or two I saw (saw you put your hand on your blockers back like Stephen Davis did so well) but you'll need that skill more often in college than you did in high school.

Remember, at the next step, you'll only be playing against guys that were good enough to make a college team, so you have to step up your game. Don't stop working. Talent can only get you so far. It eventually plays itself out if you don't have a work ethic to go with it. The ones who succeed are the ones who are willing to work just a little harder than the others.

One other thing: Don't neglect your education. Remember you're not just an athlete. You're also a student.

My thoughts, for what they're worth...

You gotta have a coach that cares about kids and helps them land somewhere. Sounds like your coach is a dick. My former coach was the biggest douche and a dick when it came to that. We won a state title that year with Charles Briggs (Mr BB and FB for NC that year), Goo, Atkins. Few robberies, fake SAT scores and out of control behaviour, none of our guys made it out of town.

Such a shame.

    • PJ's completion % was 63% when starting games in Carolina.  Which I believe is better than Bryce when starting.  And again, 4-3 as the starter here and the LONE QB Carolina has been able to actually win with in the Tepper era.  If you ask a gambling gunslinger to come into blowouts.....they are going to go down in a blaze of glory.  Which he would do.  Yeah, he isn't good.  And gunslingers are supposed to have rockier stats than checkdown QBs.   So....why does PJ Walker have a better comp % as a starter than Bryce Young.  And for every knock you want to make about PJ, you can find something or a skillset that PJ does better than Bryce.   I didn't say PJ had good field vision.  He doesn't.  Tell me about Bryce after he comes off the first read lol.  Let me repeat, PJ Walker is not a good QB.  He is NFL depth and an in house arm.  Bryce Young doesn't belong in a convo w/ Jake and Cam.  He belongs closer in a convo with the backup caliber QBs Carolina was forced into playing.  Which isn't just PJ Walker.  But Kyle Allen.  Moore.  Guys like that.
    • Oh I see what you meant by memory. I will trust my memory, I have looked a a lot of those ball charts for Bryce and they trend a general pattern. They thing that has changed that I have noticed more recently is the reduction in the bunching of behind or at  the LOS passes over to his right.  Aside from the quantity of throws recently since the running game has become a more dominant factor.
    • Yes but you basically said you are going from a quick skim of those charts without doing the same for Bryce and/or Andy. So you are going memory vs. snapshots. That's not going to be a very comprehensive analysis.
