The cards are getting bent over. The draft picks alone from the Colts don't add up to the value of the #5 overall (Trade Value Chart) and then you get a pro bowl linebacker added in basically for free. Not even close.

That whole trade is kinda weird. You're trying to trade up from 22 to 5 AND trade for a couple of players (one probowler) all in the same trade. You need to do one or the other, not both.

And you don't even have enough value there to trade up from #22 to #5. I'm not sure what you're giving for the players as just the picks to trade up isn't enough.

You are actually coming out 486 points ahead in the picks alone (which equals a high 2nd rounder) AND gaining players.

Cards are losing players, gaining none and losing draft value also.

RNR did you get my message about having unlimited trades that way people won't be forced to make blockbuster trades to address their needs especially if they don't have much spending cash.

I don't want to throw out the trade rules now.

Plenty of teams enter the offseason with limited cap space, just sign some mid level FAs, roleplayers, maybe one high end FA that hasn't been too heavily sought after and fill the rest with the draft. Not every team can bring in top FAs.

The thing is you can't bid over your spending money so it is impossible for myself to almost have any room to maneuver. I was just think let guys make as many trades as they can within the rules. Just don't put a specific number of trades that a team can and cannot make.

I know what you mean about room to maneuver. It sucks but then again the Jets are one of the top teams and shouldn't have a ton of holes.
