California health officials say they are trying to determine if people who contracted a respiratory infection got it at the Los Angeles Playboy mansion.

The Department of Public Health in Los Angeles County contacted dozens of people who attended the annual DOMAINfest Global conference in Santa Monica earlier this month, telling them it received reports of flu-like respiratory illnesses among attendees, some of whom also attended an event at the Playboy mansion, The Los Angeles Times reported.

The event was held at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, but a fundraiser on Feb. 3 was held at Hugh Hefner's famous estate.

A Swedish attendee tested positive for the Legionella bacterium when he returned home and some of those who fell ill said they suspected a fog machine may have spread the illness. Legionnella is a milder form of Legionnaire's disease.

The event's organizer urged attendees not to make assumptions and to wait for the outcome of the investigation.

"Only medical authorities are qualified to identify this illness and investigate its ultimate source … it's important not to speculate or make unfounded assumptions," said Mason Cole, organizer of the conference.

Let the speculation and unfounded assumptions begin!

    • Winning games and be a +500 team are good. But the goal is to win Super Bowl.  Chiefs had Alex Smith, went to playoff twice and still replaced him.   BY as of now: - To many fumbles - Completion in the intermediate range is just far below acceptable - Not enough of a deep throw threat....   The stats you try use is deceiving.  Catchable......  That is an opinion. Show me the completion %. And also, how does BY compare to other QBs using the stats you cited. Oh... ranked at 27

    • The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us. Trust and believe the players do see your toxicity.    Anyways here are some positive stats.      Most Accurate QB on... 20+ Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (79.2%) 2. Sam Darnold (79.2%) 3. Bryce Young (75.0%) 10-19 Yard Throws 1. Jaxson Dart (88.0%) 2. Jayden Daniels (82.9%) 3. Drake Maye (80.7%) 0-9 Yard Throws 1. Drake Maye (92.9%) 2. Spencer Rattler (92.6%) 3. Bryce Young (91.7%) @FantasyPtsData
