The CBA allows for 20 games, which is why it was 4+16 games, and now 3+17, and soon it will be 2+18. That is not breaking news. It will not be happening next season though. It will be the next big negotiating point though, and most people expect players to ask for some big concessions for going along with an additional game. No longer drug testing for marijuana is my guess. -

One of these days this league will oversaturate the market -
Two byes, expanded roster size or some adjustments on practice squad size and requirements is a must. I'd prefer 8 home, 8 away, 1 other (international or a college town with no pro team) but I think we are closer to a 20 game season than we are to staying at 17.
