What should the Panthers do with the first pick in the draft?

IMHOP they should figure out a way to move down to the 3-5 spot and then draft Peterson.

A lock down corner is a necessity in the NFL South....Three of the best QBs in the league are in our division and we need a lockdown CB who will require a QB to take a second or two longer to throw, so that our DL can get pressure on the QB.

Peterson is the pick at 3-5. I don't really want to do this pick at 1, but we may not have a choice.

on the flip side, if you get a pass rusher that takes one or two seconds less to get to the QB, he'll make any corner look like a shutdown cb. Ask Rex Ryan how having a shutdown corner + a stud #2 with no pass rush worked out for him in the AFCC Game

as undersized everette brown 2.0 or by wasting his PR skills as opposite beason?

I dont consider anybody at 6'3 246 undersized. But if Ron Rivera plan on blitzing the way he wants to he probably could use him at OLB.And plus there are huge questions at the Linebacker core it isnt as strong as it seems to be.Also Beason isnt that good of a blitzer and Thomas Davis hasn't played a game in two years.
