Ya, it saves the Petty name in Nascar, that's IT...doesn't change how as a member of the family and having had worked your entire life in, around and for it and its legacy for it to get handled the way it did. That's all he knows, all he has had.

He was pretty good at broadcasting! ;)

Junior wrecked half the field. Can you imagine the reaction on here if Kyle Busch and Earnhardt changed places in that deal?

AND pitted on the line. He said in an interview later that NASCAR needed to look at the pitting on the line rule. I wonder if he wants them to move the line out a bit or just let the drivers stop anywhere in the pits close to their crew.
