i don't know if the software is available yet, or if you should do it on a work phone, but rooting your droid and getting a ROM for saving battery helps a ton.

I'm using setCPU along with Liberty 1.5 ROM, and can now make it through an entire work day of listening to pandora without having to charge it. I still had 30% at the end of 8 hours yesterday.

Yeah I may have to look into doing that. One of the perks of being in IT that controls cell phones is that I do whatever I want with the phone.
