Can't depend on Palmer.

Seriously people, Carson outperformed all our QBs combined last season, and yet this fanbase wants to ride an unproven project QB's jock (that has an unreal bust potential) for the next decade.

Palmer can come in for 3-4 years and immediately improve this team at the "most important position". And we can draft another position to build the team all around. He had over 4,000 yrds passing with 20+ tds and that makes him washed up, obviously a lot of people are blind by the cam goggles and thinks he is the 2nd coming of jesus (well third if your including The Golden Calf of Bristol).

I say give clausen another year to see if he does suck, and the result of his play weren't just rookie jitters and bad coaching, and if he plays well keep him as the franchise QB, if not then we are stuck with a high draft pick again next season, where there are a hell of a lot better QB's than the S H I T QB's coming out this season.

P.S. why do we have ridiculous censors on this forum, when it's basically an 18+ message board, thats unreal (i can understand no nudity but if we're all adults around here than profanity shouldn't be banned, it's not like people are gonna whine about it) just my .02

he won't be able to choose where he goes...and if your the bengals why not send the guy who's turning his back on you to the worst team in the league?!?

that being said, i don't want palmer...he's not the player he was before that injury in the playoffs a few years ago...i don't think he'll take us to a super bowl...i could be wrong and maybe he just needs to get out of that situation in cincy but i would rather draft a QB and groom him

The man was threatening to retire. I'm sure he has some power.

I also doubt that he would want to come to a loser franchise like ours. In other words, what makes us a better fit than his current situation now in Cincinnati?
