Laptop Just just a Virus (I think)

When I try to start it up it give me a error message and starts running a scan after awhile it tells me it can resolve the problem. Tried to do a system restore but that didnt help.

restart, tap the f8 key until you get a list of boot options. choose safe mode and then it'll ask if you want to do a system restore. do the system restore.

Get someone to get you a 911 cd. Boot from it and run anti-virus and malware removal.

Well tried safe mode no go on that. It was a Dell so they a complete restoration option but it takes it back to how it came out of the factor. Lucky for me I didnt have much on it so I just did that. Nice now that I all my memory back and a almost new computer.

It was a wierd one. When I would log in it acted like the OS wasnt there. The computer would look for it but have no luck. but I had the option to did system restore which didnt work. It was like a program would start up after I logged in. I could never get to shut it down. Im not the brightest with computers though.
