I think Cornell is pretty bad ass.

If I remeber correctly, a music mag years ago said that he has a natural voice for singing anything and has a range that professional opera singers try to acheive with minimal success.

I really liked the bands he performed with and Audioslave was pretty successful (IMHO) even though he was working with mediocre musicians (again IMHO).

Legend? Not yet but...

The cover was ok, not a whole lot of folks would try to take that on live. you do need to pour your heart into it and I think he honestly did.

He's no Lady Gaga :D
