wasn't he 3-1 at the end of the 07 season?

And here we go again. He was up against teams that had already locked up Playoff spots playing against backups. And I've said this time and time again players can look real good for there first few games or a season, until opposing coaches have enough gamefilm to come up with defensive packages to stop them. Look what happened to Romo did awesome his first year and most of his second but at the end of last season couldn't do anything. Coaches found out how to stop him. The only way you can know if a QB is good is after a few seasons after he has soon if he can adapt. So I think it is foolish not to bring in someone to compete.

I don't recall it that all of those teams were just coasting. And while I agree he didn't look great in preseason, I don't think that owes as much to other teams gameplanning to stop him as it does playing with backups.

Moore is not ready at this point, but I do still believe he can be the QB of the future.
