what did you end up saying?

Nothing exciting - just thanked the appropriate people, roasted the groom a little (but nowhere near as much as I could have), added a little sentiment and then gave the toast.

Everyone said it was a good speech, so I'll take their word for it.

And pstall, you must know the bride's father. He was in his element speaking to the crowd. Went on FOREVER.

  Good for you. I have been set back by 3 divorces so I kinda deserve what I have left. Spent every dime I've earned on raising my 2 son's by myself and helping out my mother financially. I'm not complaining. But if I did have the cash I probably would try this just for the experience. I would not be a regular unless I win the lottery. But it's hard to win when you don't play.

  Yeah, definitely not writing him off but when it sounded like weight have a shot at him and I started watching clips it was Grant who kept jumping off the screen.
