2011-2012 Line Projections

First off, this is sole speculation and fun. This is the same thing that we do in the Panthers forum execpt we pretty much know who will be on the team when projecting the Hurricanes roster.

So here is my 2011-2012 Line Projection, I expect others to give me their projections and feedback as well. Thanks. (Note: I think if we still had Cole we would be legit contenders this year.)

OFFENSE

Line 1: LW- Jeff Skinner, C- Eric Staal, RW- Zac Dalpe

Line 2: LW- Jussi Jokinen, C- Brandon Sutter, RW- Anthony Stewart

Line 3: LW- Alexei Ponikarovsky, C- Tuomo Ruutu, RW- Chad LaRose

Line 4: LW- Zach Boychuk/Jiri Tlusty, C- Tim Brent, RW- Patrick Dwyer

DEFENSE

Line 1: LD- Joni Pitkanen, RD- Tim Gleason

Line 2: LD- Tomas Kaberle, RD- Jay Harrison

Line 3: LD- Bryan Allen, RD- Derek Joslin/Jamie McBain

GOALTENDER'S

1. Cam Ward

2. Brian Boucher

3. Justin Peters (Checkers)

The offense looks pretty good. but...

i would put the D a little different.

1st Line - Kaberle/Gleason

2nd Line - Pitkanen/Allen

3rd Line - Harrison/MaBain

With Kaberle and Pitkanen both running the points on the powerplay.
