Madden 12 Team Ratings: NFC South

Set em as your favorite and hold your ground on the select team screen... Make those bandwagoners go back to their sh*tty team.

Always do. Of course, usually nobody is fighting me to play as them. I used them in an online league with a bunch of buddies and a few random guys and I went 12-4 with the Pickle under center last year. Williams had over 2,000 yards rushing and everybody bitched at me because I'd be getting over 150 yards a game with him running Power O behind Otah and they couldn't stop it. I was always like um ur the Eagles are you kidding me quit bitching.

Can't wait to play Madden this year!

Olsen/Shockey alone changes up my whole offense. No more dropped balls by Barnidge.

My run game will still be Unstoppable! this year Goodson should be rated even better... Nice 1-2-3 punch!

I don't run too much with my QB so I don't anticipate doing so with Cam. Plus with all of our offensive weapons I won't need to.

I like playing people who run with their QB's. Figured out how to stop that crap back when Vick was on the Falcons.

People will undoubtedly try and play with the Panthers which is COMPLETE BULLSH1T!!!!

It's just a game though.... I will dominate and go on my 16th year playing with ONLY the Panthers... Thus my SN... TruCatzFan...

Anybody with a PS3 should send me a pm with your gamer tag... Wouldn't mind labbing with a few Huddlers.

After I adjusted to the retarded defensive AI that didn't react to passes at all, I was back to dominant form with us. Mainly used us, used the Eagles sometimes, and sometimes picked different teams to get more points depending on who my opponent selected.

Not gonna lie though, once they kept degrading our QBs to oblivion, I quit playing altogether.

I occasionally got on because of the competitive itch but was relegated to run HB toss out of the goalline 3 out of 4 plays.

I was already debating whether to pre-order the Hall of Fame edition with Faulk's autograph, but I definitely am now.

LOL, completely balanced offense compared to years past... And if Cam shows out early on, if we can get that accuracy up to like 85... WOW. Unstoppable.

Also, imagine the yardage that's gonna get racked up on Olsen and Shockey seam routes vs. the zone, LOL

Don't forget to mention when we can always throw it deep to Smitty with Cam's 97 throwing power. ;)

Damn I can't wait!

Yeah, once Jake regressed, our passing game went to sh*t. When Jake had 89 THP or so, you could occasionally get it over the top after running it efficiently, but once they dropped him and then Matt was only like 86 THP, we got stuck doing a lot of underneath stuff unless you're playing an idiot that blew coverage.

With Cam's 97... WOW. Just WOW.

    • I see they blamed Slavin for the goal like I did.
    • See this is the problem, you say "can't get off the line quick" and "can't separate quick" but in reality it's "he can get off the line better and create more separation" which are two completely different things. If he couldn't get off the line or separate, he wouldn't have put up the numbers he did and end up a Top 10 pick. But he can get better, and maybe more accurately, consistent with them both, and that will take his game to the next level.  These are things that are also much easier to improve once you get to the NFL than things like being a poor route runner or having bad hands, two of his strengths. Thinking he can't get open in the short passing game also shows you haven't watched enough tape on him, as he was used in that role so much in college with little issue getting open and making plays. And him not using his physicality as much isn't even something that hurts his game because he's so much more agile than a player of his size should be, which he used to his advantage.  Instead of throwing passes where he'd go up and box out a player like a TE or Mike Evans does, they use his athleticism and put the ball in places that only he can get to it, and he usually does (and yes, he'll still be able to do that against NFL DB's with his catch radius). But now that he's in the NFL, I'd like to see him get stronger and add that to his game because it also will help him take his game to another level. As I've said before, if he doesn't improve on those things at all, I think he's a Top 25 WR in this league, he's already that good.  But I think he'll improve on those things and be a perennial Top 10 WR and in his prime is considered and perform like Top 5 guy in some years. My expectations for him this year at 800 yards and 8 TDs (although I do think he'll get to 10 TDs) with a real chance at getting to 1,000.  But those expectations are because I think Thielen will lead the team in yards with close to 1k and XL/Coker each end up in the 500-600 range themselves, just too many mouths to feed this year for a rookie to dominate yardage, especially if we're running the ball well again. But if Thielen can't stay healthy or puts up sub 750 yards, then yea, my expectations for T-Mac likely shift to getting to 1k as a rookie.
    • Svech only 1 goal behind the guy they've pretty much already given the Conn Smythe to...
