Keeper League Dilemma

I am in year 2 of a keeper league. I was hoping not to make this post TLDR, but I think in order to make an informed recommendation I have to give you all the background on the league.

The story is that you are allowed to keep no more than 2 players, and anyone that you drafted in the first 3 rounds is unavailable to keep. In addition the players that you keep cause you to lose a draft pick 2 rounds higher than he was drafted last year. Undrafted players who ended the season on your roster would cost you a 12th round pick. Looking at the rosters, I can only see 2 QBs who will likely be kept (Vick and Roethlisberger). For running backs, it's likely that Arian Foster, D. McFadden, Hillis, Blount and either Bradshaw or Torain are the only major guys kept and for receivers it's looking like Dez Bryant, Vincent Jackson, Ochocinco, and Steve Johnson are sure bets. In other words, there's going to be a fairly talented pool of guys available.

I've already decided that Jammal Charles who I got in the 4th round is a no-brainer for a keeper since I only lose a 2nd rounder to get potentially a top 5 pick. The real dilemma comes in whether I keep Hakeem Nicks who I got in the 5th round (meaning I would lose a 3rd rounder) or Mike Wallace who I got in the 7th round (meaning I would lose a 5th rounder). Nicks is obviously the better player but with the talent pool being as deep as it is, does keeping Wallace and my 3rd rounder make more sense? I really don't have any decent UDFA options on my roster (Josh Freeman, Jacob Tamme, Mike Goodson).

    • Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.
    • Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.
    • Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
