SportingNews.com said his agent said it was $15 mill guaranteed.

Are you sure that is not just the signing bonus? Because on espn.com they reported a 15 mill signing bonus, and eight mill in base. But still showed that 19 of that 23 would be guaranteed.

What are the implications for Leinart if any? With a two year deal you have to assume Warner is the unquestioned starter this coming season with the possibility of being usurped int he second, although with so much guarenteed money you would imagine that only a shocking year or injury will keep him out the starting position this time next year.

Thus Leinart will likely be the unquestioned start in his final year on his contract. Something tells me that he will probably not sign an extension, due to the way he took being benched. Interesting scenario and the only way I see Leinart being the main man in Arizona is if Kurt retires after next season, that way Leinart still has two years of playing before he is a free agent.

Might be worth enquiring about his availability next off season, Wisenhunt didn't draft him (I believe) so he might not be sold on him as the 'future'.

Anyway, what do others think?

      Been here since middle school right when it started around 2003 after the charlotte.com one. Living outside of Carolina it was tough to find good Panthers content, news or analysis. And no one to talk to about it. This place gave me a lot though I don’t often post. In the later days, I particularly Loved PhillyB’s write ups. They were fire. Too bad I go let it go. I appreciate the hell out of @MHS831 @TheSpecialJuan @Jackie Lee and others who have been posting great content and keeping this place worth coming back to. Particularly during the offseason. Appreciate y’all!

      Nice explanation, but I was just messing with you. Thought that would be obvious. I dont have the energy to keep on trolling. Last season I compared our situation with Bryce as a potential Alex Smith, but what we should be looking for is our version of Mahomes. Some people will read that as one sentence, to me that single sentence is equivalent to a half A4 explanationf of the teams pathway forward.

      I dont know how much of his salary would come across and how much a trade would cost but I feel Kmet would be the sort of TE Canales and Morgan would like
