Out of a million horrible decisions by Marty Hurney, trading a 1st-rounder for this guy might be the worst of all. There was a sequence in the Cincy game where Armanti whiffed on the punt and then a Bengal ran right by Everette Brown for a touchdown about 90 seconds later in real time. Hurney saw his life flash before his eyes in those 90 seconds.

I always thought Brown was supposed to be like a Dwight Freeney, who played with speed and out maneuvered his opponent rather than overpower him.

Doesn't seem like that is panning out, but Brown still only has 2 seasons under his belt. And he hasn't started many games. But like the preseason has showed, time is running out on Brown.
