It was just a smart move to free up cap space. I am sure they have guys who go through every contract looking for ways to fix things and save cap space. Cap space includes incentives likely to be earned. This was a special teams incentive they decided to change in the contract to make it unlikely to be earned which dropped off a million bucks. It doesn't mean anything except that Hurney is not as stupid as some of you think.
