It's time fo stop using "rookie QB" and "new system" as excuses for losses.

I don't mind when some of us complain about losing.

After the last two seasons, people are just tired of losing...period. I am too.

"I hate losing" I can live with.

Claiming to already know the coaching staff sucks four games in following a 2-14 season and the weirdest offseason in decades? Not so much.

Coming off of a 2-14 season...it think its absolutely crazy for people to hang their nuts on wins and losses this season. For people to start demanding wins right now. Sorry guys...its the NFL...the better teams execute and dont shoot themselves in the foot every game. Thats the difference. Panthers have a bright future but they arent at the level of a Green Bay or even Chicago. The difference has been making dumb mistakes. Thats why they are 1-3.

Demanding wins right now....thats a good one. Ive said it before Rome wasnt built over night.

Take away the 14 points that should be credited to Special Teams, not to mention add Shockey's TD taken away from that BS interference call, and Carolina beats Chicago. Regarding Hester's runs, I was surprised:

1) ...that, after already having run almost to a TD previously, that Baker attempted to kick a 'soccer style' kick right down the middle of the field to Devin Hester.

2) ...that Baker 'shanked'/'fubar'ed that kick so badly, giving Hetser a low line-drive Christmas present of a kick to run back.

& finally

3) ... that the Special Team's coach actually had to wlk down to the ned of the bench after Hester's TD runback to tell Baker NOT to kick it to him! (Maybe he didn't see that 1st 92+ yard runback that just fell shy of being his 1st TD runback?! )

The loss to Chicago had NOTHING to do with Newton being a rookie, a new HC, or this being a young team. This loss was about Special Teams sucking and the moronic decision to kick the ball to Hester, not once but TWICE!
