Montreal looks like there going to lose to the ever surging ottawa. Bad news is Florida won. So now we are sitting in 7th with Montreal... and now Florida is one point behind us. We can not go to sleep tommorow night against the islanders. I kinda expect to see Leighton. This way cam is fresh for caps on sat. What are everyone elses thoughts??

We NEED 2 points out of this back to back situation. Ward has to get the nod in net after the performance he put up Wednesday. If he's our guy, and he clearly is, then these are the games he needs to play. We should have found some other time in the last 15 to give him a night off. We need him now.

At the very least, give him the Islander game and secure those points and THEN make a decision about Washington. The Islanders game is not a mulligan. They're going to be playing hard.

    • I think that depends more on how high our pick is. If we have the 1st, 2nd or even 3rd pick i think we are drafting a QB rather than shopping FA market for a QB1. Curious if we’d be reluctant to start a rookie QB week 1 though.
    • Hurney 2.0 and Fitts were so bad I don't know if it was intentional or they were that abysmally clueless. Fittershits panicked repeatedly being on the back end of positional runs while Hurney couldn't evaluate anyone outside of the 1st.  I can't figure out why Plummer still has a jersey. There's no reason. Dalton brings nothing to the table. If another QB gets cut that has given a glimmer of anything better than what we have, we should look, and that goes for every position.  I cant get over how much different this team could have been with a competent GM and having accepted the Rams offer for Burns. This franchise could have gone in a totally different direction.
    • I thought tanking wasn't actually a thing and we were firmly against it though?
