Which RB should I pick up?

I've had horrible luck with rb's lately. Jahvid is out with concussion problems, and now McGahee will probably miss some time with a broken hand. Demarco Murray and Hardesty have already been picked up so all that's really left are Michael Bush Ben Tate and Delone Carter. I'm leaning towards Tate what do you guys think?

Is this a decision just for one week? I'd probably go with Carter since he is getting the lion share of the carries, and the Raiders have a bye this upcoming week. Another one to consider is Alfonso Smith (RB for the Cardinals) since Beanie Wells is probably out 1-2 weeks. If Wells stays out 2 weeks, that means Smith gets to start against the Rams horrible defense.

Its pretty much a decision for several weeks. I'm not sure how long McGahee is out but the word is its at least a couple weeks and Jahvid is being urged to sit the rest of the season. Jahvid's fill-in has been Earnest Graham and rumor is he's done for the year. So now my only back is Daniel Thomas, who doesn't put up great numbers anyway. Jimmy Graham, AJ Green and Steve Smith are the only people keeping me afloat right now.

Graham is Blount's backup. If that is true about Best, I suppose you could try to get Maurice Morris or Keiland Williams. Like I said, if you're desperate, try to get Alfonso Smith.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
