How good has Gamble been this year?

no one throws in revis's direction. period.

if gamble continues to perform the way he has for another season or two, people will stop throwing in his direction too.

I'm not a Revis fan but he has been impressive, in that article they mentioned that he had been thrown at 33 times and only allowed 10 receptions, 8 of which came against B. Marshall....Revis does get some bullshit calls from refs though because of his reputation

Another Panther bouncing back from a disappointing previous season is on the other side of the ball, CB Chris Gamble (+2.2). With his only overall negatively-rated performance coming in Atlanta the previous week, Gamble continued his nice 2011 start against Beck and his crew of wideouts. Beck threw at Gamble seven times, coming away with with no completions, a pass defensed, and a pick that essentially sealed the game.

Anyone remember the draft day coverage when we chose Gamble several years ago? Every damn analyst had to be a fuging smart guy and say "Whoa now the Panthers took a gamble on Gamble here! he he ho!"

Seriously though, I'm loving me some Gamble this year. He knew he had to step up and perform this season and he's done that and more.

Did you guys see that tackle of Brandon Marshll by Revis before his 100 yeard INT return for a TD? Revis is 1 of the best corners, but he is not as good as the hype...just like Nnamdi Asomugha. Great corner, but not to the level of the hype.

Revis is lucky the teams throw at the other corners, which is just like Asomugha was in Oakland. Now that Samuel & Cromartie are on the feild, he does not look to be impossible to throw against.
