Terry Bradshaw ranked Dalton ahead of Cam...

The offense would look completely different and most likely worse because Dalton lacks Newton's elite arm strength and elite running ability.

IDK i think they would run the ball a lot more. Dalton doesn't have a problem running Cinci's offense and they have a lot less weapons.

they have good weapons though, don't act like the Panthers are leaps and bounds better

solid o-line, pretty damn good TE(no worse than either of ours), a future super star receiver(he's no Steve Smith but not many are), and their #2/#3 WR's aren't that much better(or worse) than ours.

honestly I'd say it's pretty damn close to a draw in supporting casts. if we used our RB's more maybe it'd be better but we don't(something I'd like to change....)

im not going to let you bitches troll me so I won't comment on the topic of this thread, just making an objective observation

Dalton: Connecting on all the throws you have to make and taking care of the football. Doing the things you have to do to win games consistently. Having a great season and has been very impressive as a rookie. Cincinnati has been building up that defense and getting depth and talent on the o line, and now they've plugged in their skill players and they are a very good young team.

Cam: Wow. Thats really all you can say if you've watched him play. He makes plays that just make your eyes pop on a regular basis. Statistically, he already holds several NFL records, and is on pace to shatter a few more in his rookie season. Unfortunately he has yet to prove that he can make all the plays that win you football games as consistently. Unlike Dalton, Cam comes to a team loaded with talented personnel but for a completely different offensive scheme. He does not enjoy half the defensive protection as Dalton does, as the Panthers LB depth has been completely decimated in a year that we had to go plan b at DT.

Dalton looks like a really solid QB that is having a great season. I don't think he's shown anything particularly special other than his surprisingly solid rookie performance to date. Guys like him have great seasons some years, sometimes mediocre. I'd say he may peak out over that Matt Ryan tier...

Cam looks like a future hall of famer that can take over games similar to the way Peyton Manning takes over games, but in a completely different way. Go with Cam. Its unbelievable when you really think about the reality of having this guy be a part of this franchise. He can take us to the very top.

The way Dalton can turn a ball over twice, throw for under 200 yards............and know that he has a defense that can bail him out, and still win a game by double digits.. He's definitely a stud, and obviously the main reason the Bengals win their games. He's not this years equivalent of a weaker armed Mark Sanchez at all.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
