Also rumored is that there's a bug in the LTE version that's being worked on, and evidently it's big enough for them to want to be absolutely sure that each handset gets an OTA update immediately upon activation. Which supposedly you can't use it until that update is downloaded and applied in-store.

Whatever, this launch has gone full retard. I wish I had other options on wireless providers but I'm stuck on this lolercoaster until Verizon decides to release this thing.

Back to Verizon last night... showed the wife that HTC Rezound... she liked it, but decided it cost too much. So she ordered an iPhone 4S.

Those Verizon reps kill me... they have told us about 10 different things in regards to our updates, dates, costs, etc. It's like they have no clue.

The guy did tell me they were told the Nexus is delayed indefinitely and they have no clue when they'll get it.

Pretty sure Verizon issued an ultimatum to their CSRs after the flood of leaks last week that their jobs are on the line if they leak info without authorization.

They also reportedly fired several for their loose lips.

You won't hear anything from the CSRs until Verizon officially announces a release date.

I absolutely love this phone. Got it Friday afternoon via FedEx. Very fast and the screen is nothing short of gorgeous. Not to mention the new OS is much improved over previous versions.

Developer support is really starting to crank up if you're into rooting and ROMing.

    • Maybe it's because I played LT until some fat fug folded my knee, but I love watching footwork drills at the combine for olinemen. I call it fat man ballet. Base and balance are everything when it come to being a lineman. Everything starts there. Sure there's lateral movement, hip flex, bend, hand fighting, strength, push, etc, but without a strong base and good balance, the rest aren't happening. Those drills are specifically designed to show you things and they stand out big time if you're watching their feet and ankles. You can tell what doesn't feel like a natural movement. I remember watching Greg Little and I was blown away at how bad his footwork was. Like unbelievably bad. To the point I thought maybe he had never practiced one of these drills before. I remember when we drafted him, I thought to myself well fug, there's a wasted pick.  Aside from the added weight, I wonder if that's part of why Bryce didn't throw. Standing next to all the other QBs, that footwork and mechanics would stand out like a sore thumb, much more so than at a pro day. Bryce is good at some things, improvising and eluding and he does appear to have that clutch gene, but his throws get ugly when he tries to arm it instead of having that solid stead base to throw from.
    • He could be 6-9 and he would still suck with the issues he has.

(WGHP) — The Carolina Panthers are preparing to host their first home playoff game in a decade on Saturday and fans of the team are calling for one of the franchise’s legends to return.   Throughout home games in recent seasons, the Carolina Panthers have frequently selected an iconic player from the team’s past to serve as a “Legend of the Game” and bang the Keep Pounding drum as part of the team’s pregame ceremony.     CHARLOTTE, NC – OCTOBER 29: The Carolina Panthers ‘Keep Pounding’ drum is on display prior to game featuring the … Read More Players who served as the “Legend of the Game” in 2025 include Greg Olsen, Mike Rucker, Jordan Gross and Captain Munnerlyn.     CHARLOTTE, NC – DECEMBER 01: Former Carolina Panthers Rod Smart introduced as ” Legend of the Game” during the … Read More Speaking of Munnerlyn, in a recent episode of his “No Cappin With Cap” podcast, he floated the subject of the Panthers selecting Newton to serve as the team’s “Legend of the Game” if they were to make the playoffs.   Newton responded “-1ØVẼ” to the post in his unique style of typing, seemingly expressing his approval of the concept. He also recently shared his emotional reaction to the Panthers returning to playoff contention in a recent segment of his “4th&1” podcast.   Newton returning to Bank of America Stadium as the Panthers host their first playoff game since Newton’s 2015 MVP season would likely generate a raucous reaction from the fans, similar to when Newton returned to Charlotte in 2021
