Man, everyone knows I've been pro-Cam since day one... but, this sh*t isn't cute when you're still prone to f*ck up. You're right fiery... He better own that.

He better be on top of his sh*t before he volunteers anymore interviews as well. INTs happen, but you can't be the reason that we lost the same week you put something like that out there either.

(I still put a great deal of blame on Rivera/Chud and Mare, but without the picks we may have been able to survive)

In all fairness only one of his picks costed us points. I think the coaching staff playing "safe" before half changed the whole dynamic of the game. Should have put a dagger in them. BUT, we're not used to winning, and unfortunately there's no "killer instinct" with this staff. Cam knew it and u could see his frustration with the conservative play calling.

It was never the same after that... You could point to a million reasons we lost in the 2nd half... But to me, the passive nature in which the calls were made ultimately costed U's this game. They showed no faith in our offense to get it done.

Hopefully the team learned something today.

accepting losing and saying "ho hum, maybe next time" is what he was referring to.. did anyone watch the interview?

Yeah, but when you call yourself a lion and say your teammates aren't on your level but then become the on-field reason you lost... that kind of negates all that "I'm a winner, my team isn't" stuff.

no, it doesn't.. irrelevant really. the analogy (lion reference) was saying accepting losing is not acceptable..

simple and plain.

    • If we can get off the field on 3rd down and give bryce a short field to work with, Carolina could be poised to turn heads.  I'm predicting NFC Championsip game because look at the state of the NFC.  Whole conference is going in the shitter.
    • Hope so. I think the missing piece to their write up is nic scourton having a year under his belt. I think he is primed for a bit of a jump in production.
    • Evero has ZERO excuses not to have this defense in the top 10.  After the 2024 season he was given a lifeline because he had NO talent on the defensive side of the ball.  2025 showed a vast improvement. 2026 we added two players in free agency that addressed our worst positions on the defensive side of the ball. This season will make or break his future in football.  If he has a stellar defense he most likely will be considered for a head coaching job.  If he fails, he'll definitely damage his status in the NFL.
