Someone give me a good ETF to buy

I got about $1000 I want to dump into a etf for a year or two. Something with a good return but not to crazy(no 10x short on Cambodian monkey anus exports). Can the huddle financial gods appease me?

Put your money into Gold & Silver! When you go to cash out in a year or two, no taxes! Just split it up between 2 bullion sellers, (no purchase over $600.)

AND if Zombie Nation comes true, Gold & Silver will be the only form of currency.

and why are you leaning towards an ETF?

Simplicity mostly. I like being able to take a position on a market instead of a company within the market. Basically, I've been putting money into savings then transferring to a brokerage account once I get a decent buffer. I'll do more with it once that account is large enough to justify the time and research needed, i.e. in a year or 2.

No real timeline. I've had money in SPY as of Nov, it's been doing me well.

they are good. just have to keep an eye on fees and exposure but they are not bad.
