Remember, Madden 96 would have come out before the 95 season. So maybe the shot was from the HOF game? I don't know when the release date was back then but I know the title is always a year ahead. So that's why the Panthers and Jags were on the cover, it was the first year for those teams.

Someone look up who the hell those players are so we can research their stats to determine if their careers were cursed from the cover. Or perhaps they were expansion team scrubs??

Holy crap! I did some research and each person died in a some horrible accident within a year. :o
