Justin Blackmon To Visit Panthers

Smitty is probably much slower than gettis/lafell and is 5'9".

Size and speed doesn't matter. It matters what you do on the field.

Some people play bigger and faster when Sunday comes. Some don't.

When I watch Blackmon, I see a resemblance of a Dez, T.O., and Boldin.

I can't tell you who I see lafell or gettis resembling.

If Blackmon is there, we take him no matter what unless trading down.

We be stupid enough not to.

This statment right here let me know you're not a panther fan and don't know #89.

The rest of that bull poo you type is render non credible because of the 1st statement.

You have to be one of the dumbest people on here to not think there is a chance that 2 bigger faster WR who know the system and have played against PRO CB. Might keep your lover boy on the bench.

Your stupid enough to think that two guys who haven't even prove the league or anyone that their capable of bring the no.1 or heck even the no.2 guy can beat a rookie who's coming with tons of talent. WR is probably the easiest position for a rookie to have a huge impact. Remember AJ Green last year who was catching balls from Andy Dalton.

Blackmon doesn't need to be playing ahead of lafell and gettis at the moment, but he'll sure make an impact and be great coming in 4wide sets.

Lol. You going to judge me being a fan or not by a sentence. Wow!

That's the best you got?

I guess you know how many hair is on the top

If Smitty's head since you're such a huge panthers' fan.

All your reasons to backup your statements are full of junk. If a bag of money fell off the sky, would you take it? Yah, you wouldn't bc your an idiot.

Who do you want other than Blackmon if Blackmon did fall to 9th? Poe? Coples? Kuechly?

Yah, well Fua and McClain knows the play book. We have CJ who's proven and will put coples' ass on the bench. Beason has seen the pro bowl multiple times. So due to all of this, we shouldn't draft any of them then huh? Idiot!

And what has Blackmon proven in the NFL. Don't worry I wait............

Then you compare Blackmon to a 6'4 wr who played in the best league in college against future NfL starting CB like

PP7, Mo Caliborne, Eric Berry, Arenas, Kirpatrick, Joe Haden, I can keep going.

Your 1st statement was stupid don't blame me you typed it.

Your Analogy in this post is also very stupid. So we will move on.

No Cox the best DT in this draft that played in the best league in college.

If Blackmon is there you take him. Smith won't last forever, Lafell maybe a solid 2, Gettis is a ? and we need to plan for Smitty's departure. We lost Shocky and in 4 year's Cam is going to be looking to move on if he he think's we are of the stop the run manage the clock type of team.

I know everyone want's a DT but we need to look out for our star player... our first real star player and build around him for the future. Does the D need help, YES!! very much but guess what we are not going to the super bowl next year... anyone wan't to make a bet!!

MAKE CAM HAPPY OR WE WILL LOSE HIM! Because Jerry is a good ol stuburn I know it all boy... D win's championships, thats bs go back and look it up, it goes both ways, or some were in the middle, D is not that magic pill..... OK I've had drink or two, but I speak the truth.

OK buddy

Steve Smith is still one of the fastest WR in this league. Not to mention his agility and elusivness (which made him a great PR/KR) in the open Field. His toughness is un questioned and he got hops.

Blackmon is no Steve smith so don't even try to compare them because of Steve's size. Plus their are not alot of #89 in the league have you notice.

Blackmon would've been a first rounder last year and the second wr off after Green and before Julio Jones.

It doesnt matter who Blackmon played in college. It matter about what he's going to do in the NFL.

He'll def have a better QB to throw the ball to him also.

That can go to Smitty also then. Who did Smitty played against in college? it doesnt matter bc hes doing his thing in the pro.

Dez didnt play against the best cbs during his times there, and imo hes a top ten wr in the NFL right now. Blackmon could be better thean Dez.

Cam needs a D that can get him stops, turn overs and short fields to work with. Not another Wr trying to out score teams. A better D will make a better offense.

Once again Blackmon is not a once in a life time talent. There will be another WR like him next year I promise.

Dude, every wr in the NFL is different. They have their own talents. Some have their similaritites.

But for you to pass on a top 5 talent in the draft due to his lack of size, which is still very good (6'1") is plain stupid.

Thanks God you're not making the decision for us on draft day.

No way in hell. The falcons traded 5 picks to get Jones. Jones is bigger faster and played against top competition.Blackmon couldn't wash Jones's jock strap. Blackmon might fall behind Floyd.

Stop being stupid.

    • So Willis had a good game against a poor defense and all of a sudden he is worth 50 million and is guaranteed to be better than Young. LOL I know he looked good in the 3 games he started, and I think he will have success long term, but anyone signing him up for a long term contract for 50 million is taking a huge risk.
    • Is he really though? Rivera was past his prime and probably shouldn't have even started 2019 so his firing wasn't really unexpected or unwarranted. Rhule lasted two and a half years which was about one year too long in my opinion. Bringing him back that third year certainly wasn't impulsive and I would say Tepper was more patient than he should have been. Wilks finished out that third season and did pretty good but most everyone could see he really wasn't anything more than an intern HC. Bringing him back was not the long term answer so not bringing him back was the correct call. Hiring Reich was a mistake from the beginning and he recognized that fairly quickly. I am sure he knew he was going to catch a lot of sh*t for firing him so quickly ( and boy did he ) but it was absolutely the right thing to do given everything that was going on. The firing may have looked impulsive, but I think it was him recognizing he had royally f*ck up and just dealt with it instead of letting it fester.  That brings us to Canales. 2025 was only his second season and yet he delivered 8 wins and the NFC South title. And while that might not sound great, given the lack of talent and cap space they started with, it's a strong step in the right direction. I couldn't imagine Tepper not being pleased with their progress given the crap the Panthers' have been though under his ownership.
