Seems like that is where he has been for some time between 10-15. I don't remember any mocks were he went higher than 8th. He is admittedly somewhat of a project. Honestly I think he should have stayed in school.

People need to stop listening to Mike Mayock and taking his word for prophecy. The guy has been wrong as much as he has been right. Coples has the ability to be a great defensive end especially in our locker room. Sports Illustrated just gave him the 5th highest grade in the draft only behind Luck, Griffin, Richardson, Kalil. If there is a 6'6'' 290lb DE at the 9th pick in the draft then bust or no bust potential...you take that player if he's the best player available.
