I like Lakers in 5 games. I think Denver will show some heart and win one of their home games, but their lack of size will kill them against this Laker front court. Lakers should get by these guys easy, even without Metta World Peace who is on suspension.

Just some nit picky things, Faried is #35, Koufos is #41 and from Ohio St.

Manimal has been my favorite rookie this year. Always love to see Afflalo defend top players and he'll get his chance vs Kobe. Also, Jordan Hill has been a nice surprise pick up for LAL.

You know what, I am going to pick the upset. I've been picking chalk in the these other series, Denver in 6.

I agree with most here that the Lakers bigs are too much for the Nuggets. If the Lakers are smart they run the offense through Bynum from game 1 and let him do his thing.

I'm more interested to see what what the Lakers do to slow down Lawson in this series. Their inability to guard short quick PGs killed them in the playoffs last year, and Lawson is one of the best at getting into the lane. I've never been too impressed with Sessions defense, but if he can slow down Lawson a bit the Lakers could be dangerous

    • I thought this presented an interesting point. It is fair to wonder now, about switching the two QBs as so many tried to do that first year where Bryce was trash and CJ looked great.  It is almost the reverse scenario now and I wonder what CJ would look like here with better weapons better coaching and better protection. Overall, compared year one.  If each player had been in the other place for the three years. I would love to see CJ with this team now.  Just to see.
    • I really have no clue what to expect sunday.  To quote one of my favorite bands of all time, Operation Ivy "All I know is that I dont know".  We could win, hell we could win convincingly, we also could lose in blowout fashion.  We could be in a back and forth game with whoever has the ball last winning.  I legit HAVE NO CLUE.  This isnt the dominant bills teams of the past, Allen is still elite and can win any game by himself.  That said, heres my stab at looking at things. Our defense is made to stop this kind of team.  Strong against the run, a great corner but meh talent around the field.  We've stopped prolific run offenses this season.   Javonte Williams - Season low yards and ypa against us. De'Von Achane - Season low yards and ypa against us Breece hall - 3rd worst yards in a game Fact of the matter is, we arent what we were last year, we are a good run defense and that lines up well against the bills, Stop the run.  For once the lack of moving Jaycee might be a good thing, he will essentially lock down a side and without multiple real weapons thats fine.  Buffalo does not have an elite guy, theyve got a gaggle of average dudes.  Allen will stay away from Jaycee, it will be on Mike Jack and Chau Smith Wade do to their part and they will be matched with guys they can play at the level of. On offense, we do what the bills are bad at.  We run the ball well, and they suck at stopping the run.  Rico and Chuba will need 30 carries.  Andy Dalton will need to be opportunistic.  My big fear is what we learned last year, Dalton can get overconfident and make bonehead throws.  Its this simple.  Run the ball, stop the run.  Dont turn the ball over.  If we do these 3 things, we will be in a position to win in the 4th quarter.
    • This makes me wish we took a flyer on Quinn Ewers late in the draft
