Dual-core Samsung Galaxy S III landing on 5 U.S. carriers in June

Not too many phones worth a new thread lately... this one should be...

Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular will all receive variations of the Galaxy S III this month, but Samsung isn't sharing the exact pricing and release date for each carrier just yet. What we do know is that $200 is the lowest price of the bunch.

What's incredibly interesting (and what CNET had predicted) is that the U.S.-based version, like its

HTC One X rival, will carry a 1.5 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor as opposed to the 1.4GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor that's used in the global release.

The "downgrade" is likely due to a current incompatibility between the

quad-core chip and LTE data networks

, just as with the HTC One X, which forewent the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor that was used in the global version of its hero device.

Looks to be a hot phone...

Yep. Mine has a dual core at the same speed. I read it might only have 1GB of RAM still. Although Japan has a model with 2. I MIGHT get it if ATT gets the 2 gig model. Phone still runs out of memory on ICS pretty quick when browsing flash-based websites.

That sucks... I don't have ICS on my Rezound yet... not sure if the update is available or not, haven't looked. I'm happy with Gingerbread for now...

    • My tailoring green idea was not for him to be the starter but to add some value beyond just a developmental quarterback I think size speed is something Bryce doesn't have he has those and would immediately feel the fourth and one package and possibly red zone and some power packages for us
    • Do you have against Willis I believe you're around when we have the draft with corral and Willis were on the board and me personally I was banging the table for Willis as early as round one but a lot of people thought corral was better but it's amazing with a little coaching and time can do with me I always go with potential and upside versus oh the guy just plays football you know sometimes that's not enough
    • I know or needs and this probably isn't with a lot of people want but if he's available at 19 I don't think you can discount that he would be the best player on the board I think with 43 speed he's as fast as leggette. 63240 something he would stretch the field  Strike fear over the middle of opposing linebackers and also probably cure our long time history of no serviceable tight end since Greg Olsen I think a lot of needs like tackle maybe linebacker could be filled and free agency to the point like they did last year where we fix a lot of this and draft the best player we can on the board.  After his combine and the numbers in the 43-in vertical I'm not sure that he will be available but if he is I bet that he's highly considered what say you
