Beason's thoughts on Nakamura

Work ethic is the bane of the less talented, and those that wish to be great. As of now, the only folks that know his ability are the Ravens org. Unless you know a Raven, have seen film of their practices, or seen the handfull of plays he axtually has. You kno't know Hakuri.

But hell, if Beason says he is better than Harris. Well, I can live with that, until I get to see for myself. You sheep are for counting not posting. JK

GOOOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What?

You actually think the world breeds people on a daily basis that can come in and play without putting the work in

Not on a daily basis, no. Do you actually think that there are fans out there that believe you can play in the NFL without puting in the work?

The NFL is full of great athletes that have no work ethic. As well as the less talented with great work ehtic. Work ethic alone will not feed the lion. You must have smarts, drive, and a willingness to do whatever it takes. Not every player has that.

The vast majority of NFL players work their asses off. Work ethic is not the end all be all to being an NFL player.

I thought it was rather obvious. Should have known better. And GOOOOOO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Even if he beats the odds, returns midseason  and plays like he did last year it won’t warrant a big contract extension.
    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
