wouldnt mind any of these rumors for a trade:

the 4 and 24, (cavs)

tyreke and 5 (kings)

6 and 11 (blazers)

all the other rumors with bucks and warriors are not worth it. but any of those 3 trades get me 1 of the top 6 players i'd be ok with and good value with it.

Harrison Barnes has superstar potential. Idiots around here are blinded brcause they are Duke/NC State fans who hate him no matter what or UNC fans mad he didn't avg 40ppg

I'm a UNC fan and the best case scenario is a Luol Deng type of player.

He is not going to be a superstar forget about it.

He is a sub par ball handler, a sub par slasher, and a sub par defender, and a sub par defender.

Those are all things that LBJ (a superstar) does really well if not excellent.

The only thing that Barnes has is his scoring ability and his smooth jumper. He is just to one dimensional.

Quit posting highlight videos like it means anything, actually try looking at game footage and then come back and talk to me. All highlight videos do is show his best plays and put it to music.

Luol Deng > poor mans Gerald Wallace

Harrison Barnes will be a star. They said the same thing about Jordan, Durant, Wade,

barnes could be a star, i dont think he will be. but his chances are lower than MKG or beal at being a true star in the league, both MKG and beal are "safer" picks

umm... alot of people knew durant was going to be a star, and dwade would have had more hype if it wasnt the yr of bron and C anthony

Lol they never said that about Jordan or Durant.

Those are players that were the second and third overall picks in the draft and could/should have been higher except for some odd reason Portland as a franchise tends to draft worse than us and took Sam Bowie and Greg Oden.

Wade had a little skepticism but he was the fifth pick which is exactly where Barnes should be picked.

Also

Andre Iguodala > Luol Deng

Draft Express does NBA Comparisons based on certain things and conduct great interviews. Here are there comparisons for the five guys we are looking at.

Thomas Robinson- Best Case: Al Horford, Worst Case: Reggie Evans

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist- Best Case: Andre Iguodala, Worst Case: Gerald Wallce

Bradley Beal- Best Case: Eric Gordon, Worst Case: Gary Neal

Harrison Barnes- Best Case: Luol Deng, Worst Case: 6-8 Aaron Afflalo

Andre Drummond- Best Case: Serge Ibaka, Worst Case: DeAndre Jordan

Barnes has the intangibles of an extremely hard work ethic & the clutch gene. He has a smooth jumpshot & great range. He is a tall & strong SF. But yeah, lets draft the wing who can't shoot past 10ft & has a worst looking jumpshot than Shaq.

He has a better chance of avg. a double-double than HB40 has of becoming a superstar.

It's time to stop being a homer and put on your big boy pants.

The only guy that deserves to be picked second in Thomas Robinson.

After that, you can either pick an offensive minded player in Bradley Beal or Harrison Barnes, a defensive minded player in Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, or an athletic player in Andre Drummond.

Thomas Robinson is best overall player next to Anthony Davis. All you have to do is watch them go head to head in the NCAA Finals.

TRob will avg 10-12pt & 6-8rb....nothing special

Barnes can avg 25pt & 4-6rb

    • 100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.
    • "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
