Poker online

I use to play on poker stars a couple years back for real $$$. Made a few grand, just don't tell the IRS :D I still go on there every once in awhile, but I use play money so I can mess around and not stress about what happens. Even so, I'm up to about 7 million in play cash  My ID on there is Carolina_Kíd

I have always stayed away from online, based on the amount of sukout that goes on. I used to sit down every other friday with 16-24 people to play HoldEm tourneys, and then cash whatever after the tourney was over. They were the ones who scared me off from playing online. Although, my bro-in-law came up and setup Full Tilt at my home comp, and it has really been callin me lately. A good buddy of mine was telling me just last night about all the bonuses Doyle's Room has. Lots of FP points, easy to get Gold Cards which can be used for all kinds of shtuff. I was going to check that one out as well...

Let you know soon...

If you're avoiding online poker because you're worried about being cheated... don't. There's a much much greater chance of being cheated playing live poker than online. Just stick to the larger reputable sites (PokerStars, UltimatBet, FullTilt, PartyPoker come to mind) and you'll be fine. Even with all the security casinos have, it's still easier for players to cheat there than at online sites.

Its not being cheated that has kept me away. I get pissed when a donk's cards beat me. Ever have have Kings cracked by 9-2 off? Im told that sh_t happens all the time online. But now that I got 2 kids, and going out on a regular basis is kinda tough, online maybe the way to go...

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
