yeah i usually start off asking them the least they'd be willing to take, then undercut that another 10-20% with "I only have X amount of funds but I can be over there today if you want to get rid of it now."

sometimes i just fug with people that have retail prices on poo that's beat to hell by offering them an extremely low number

i figure if i cut them off at the ankles they'll at least give the next guy a better price

Has anyone else done this?

If so, has anyone else realized how retarded most people are and what a poor grasp the majority of them have on the concept of depreciation or planned obsolescence?

I mean, who is really going to pay $250 for a used, eight-year old television, regardless of the size? I wouldn't even pay that for a three-year old television.

Only reason I'm looking is because we need to upgrade the TV in the bedroom or mancave/workout room, so we can move the smaller TV to the kids playroom or guest room, but I'm just amazed at the stupidity of people trying to sell stuff on there.
