No he didnt. Manning rarely was pressured. Same for Russell Wilson earlier this year, same for Eli, same for Josh Freeman, same for Romo. Its been a constant theme for QBs this season.

How many of those pressure were do to Cam holding on to the ball too long, missing his reads, or not calling the right protections?

When he held the ball too long, how often did our receivers fail to get open. More than once did the replays show that he had absolutely no where to throw.

Yes, obviously some where down to him and yes he needs to learn to read pressure and know where to go per-snap, but again that is experience. Remember, Cam hasn't had a huge number of years under his belt to learn this unlike other QBs.

Manning was constantly stepping up in the pocket to avoid a defender. Just because he knows hot to elude the pressure, doesn't mean there was none.

It was Mannings feet and quick releases that kept him out of trouble, because we were getting to him, only problem was he got away or the ball out so fast it did not matter.... I mean you had to look at the guy feet work in the pocket yesterday and remember why he is one of the best.

The improvement I want to see is his ability to come back mentally from an INT, or the ability to lead a 4th QTR comeback drive. We still haven't won a game in which he threw an INT.

I watched the game, I didnt see the constant pressure in Manning's face. I didnt see guys batting down balls. I saw Denver nicely mix up run and pass. I saw Manning throw for 70%. Aside from the Bears game QBs have carved up this D all year long, its nothing new. And even in that game, Cutler carved us up when it counted.

Any QB in the league can make the passes when there isn't pressure and the wideout is wide open. Unfortunately, those plays are rare in this league. Good QB's make the passes when there is pressure and when there is less room to put the pass.

Payton was pressured on 6 drop backs. That's 15% of plays compared to Cams 40% of drop backs.

Manning a performance was also worse, no where near Cam's but it was down in every way when under pressure.

It won't surprise everyone but Cam holds onto the ball for the third longest in the league, but that should be something he improves once he learns the way to avoid pressures.

This is why I was hoping for Cam to just watch from the sidelines. And not just how he moved his feet, but how he directed the entire offense up and down the field.

You are a new QB in this league and you have the opportunity to watch one of the GOAT work. Do you do it? Of course not. You sit alone on the bench with your head down.

Atlanta got 3 picks and 3 sacks on Manning. Our fans are so in "awe" of him they believe he cant be beat or makes mistakes. No, our defense is just vastly overrated on this board by Huddlers who want to believe scrubs are stars.
